Abstract: |
To understand and examine whether activation of different kinases occur at different time points in order to know whether one is at upstream of the others; to elucidate whether knockout of PKR affects activation of stress kinase in neurons exposed to Ab peptide (1-42); to further prove whether PKR is at upstream of the stress kinases, inhibition of these stress kinases should not have any effects on PKR-eIF2a pathway; there are increasing lines of evidence showing that different kinases can form complex to control each others. This set of experiment is to examine whether PKR interacts with these stress kinases. |
